The Beautiful North

So I'm still up here in Inuvik.  Its beautiful here!  I've got a few pictures, but not too many because there isn't much daylight, so not much time to take pictures.  The sun no longer comes up, it gets light out still, but its always dim, sorta like evening light (if that makes any sense).  Before the sun stopped coming up we would have the most amazing sunrises, the sky would be fire red, orange, yellow. I got a few pictures but then had problems with my memory card and they all got erased.  So I got my card working again but these pictures just don't do it justice, I can't even explain how awesome it was, these are taken on the last day we saw the sun so the sunrise wasn't quite what it had been. These are taken right outside the hangar I work in, the windows in the hangar look out to this, its awesome!

This is the hangar I work in, and the machines I'm working on right now.

Not too interesting I know!
This is the house I am staying in, the black one on the left is mine, and thats my red car! They have the most colourful houses up here, it makes the drab and dark winters a lot more cheerful!

And I just thought this picture was kinda cool cause it means we are 1220km NORTH of Whitehorse.

Well thats it, sorry I don't have better pictures, I had a whole bunch before they all got erased.  I've got a week left and I am definitely looking forward to coming home!
